I'm getting excited about this tuxedo product, but we're a long way from testing. It's going to have an awful lot of pieces and it's going to take a bit to get them all morphed. So far I've got shirt, pants, shoes, gloves, and currently spats in progress. Next come the cummerbund, cane, and bowties. I'm saving the jacket and buttonhole for last because it's the hardest piece and has to go over all the others.
As will sometimes happen, at least two other DAZ artists are also working on tuxedo-like or tuxedo-adjacent products. As far as I know, nobody's copying anybody; one came up with the idea because he thought an upcoming FBM resembled a celebrity, one wanted to do a saucy female outfit, and Marieah and I have been talking about doing a tux since almost this time last year.
I don't know why these mental migrations happen, but they happen at Rendo, too. Sometimes people will just jump on a bandwagon after the fact, but it's not at all unusual for me to decide spontaneously to do some thing I think is random and different and have another artist publish something very similar at almost the same time with neither of us aware of the other's plans.
It's probably because we're all responding subliminally to some other factor - a mental association of sprintime with weddings and weddings with tuxes, or everyone deciding it's time to do fairies because we all saw the same commercial with one in it, or a striking cosplay at a convention we all read about on the same blog separately. Once last year it was barbarian stuff, probably because we all saw Conan and John Carter trailers (although I think I am the only person in North America who liked the John Carter movie, but then, I was a huge fan of the books when I was a girl).
Either way, I may be working 10 hour days for a couple of weeks to keep up with all my simultaneous projects, and the Haven is on hold until I get DAZ and Rendo clear. Exciting times are here again.

The foundation those guys are working upon is actually an old idea of that Vernadsky bloke, "noosphere" - he was a well-respected Soviet scientist, and I think you know that you could always count on the Marxist-Leninist ideology militantly rooting out any philosophical concept that did not work well within the predefined structures of physicalism. If you aren't familiar with his work, you might find this interesting for starters: [link]
