Well, this morning I'm back to work. Some projects I can't talk about for reasons of NDA, but the ones that I can that are already in progress:
SF Wizard G2M: Yes, this is still happening; I'm just waiting for Fuseling to finish the textures for the expansion so I can get on with promo rendering. The delay is not due to lack of interest on our part, but simply to the size of the project.
Anime Character Builder: I may have bit off more than I can chew with this one. I keep putting it off because, while making the head shapes is fun, making the MCMs for them is not. I now know why anime character sets tend to be released with, at most, two head morphs.
G2M Tunic Template: Just a matter of flailing about until it works. Shouldn't take long. I need this badly myself because of the number of great unisex-to-male robes and tunics for G1 that I want to use on G2M.
And planned but not yet begun:
People of Earth: Faces of the Americas. Faces of Africa was not a blockbuster like Faces of Asia, but it definitely performed well enough to justify its existence, so I'll continue the series. Besides, I watched a lot of Westerns this holiday season at my grandparents', and I was powerfully struck by how much white guys from California in red face do not look like Native Americans. The indigenous peoples of these two continents have some powerful, beautiful faces, and I look forward to recreating them as well as I can.
Flexible Jumpsuit/Flight Suit. Another SF project. We may need a breather after the Wizard before we're ready to collab again, we'll see.
Body morph expansions for G2F and G2M. Some things you just don't get from the official morphs, and even from DieTrying. I am also thinking of G2M's pectorals, not the best feature of his appearance but an eminently alterable one.
There's more, but it is more conjectural or further down the line. Frankly I'm excited to get back to work. Time to lose the holiday pounds, shake out the cobwebs, and get on with making the magical things happen that make this job worth doing.
